SNOW POLICY

1.      We will meet for Sunday School and worship on Sunday mornings except in the most unusual of circumstances.  If it is determined not to have Sunday School and worship, it will be reported to the local radio stations and TV station.

2.      If not announced during the Sunday morning worship service, the decision of whether to have Sunday evening activities will be reported to the local media stations.

3.      The decision of whether to have the Wednesday Prayer service will be reported to the local media stations; however, when Bowling Green City Schools are dismissed on or before 12:30 P.M. on a Wednesday because of ice or snow, the Wednesday Fellowship Meal will be cancelled.  (When in doubt about the Wednesday Fellowship meal, please phone the church office.)

4.      The Trustees have advised the FBC Custodial staff that in inclement weather due to ice and/or snow, the following building entrances will be opened:

A.     Entrances to the sanctuary from the main 12th Street parking lot

B.     Entrance to Building C from the main 12th Street parking lot

C.    Rear steps to Building C from Chestnut Street side lot

D.    Sidewalks leading to these entrances

Yellow tape will be used to indicate steps that should not to be used.

The chairman and assistant chairman of Deacons will confer with the ministerial staff in making weather related decisions regarding cancellations.
